REACO Performing Arts Company

Mission

To make quality experiences in the arts affordable and available to all children by creating child-centered performing arts groups that are trained in all areas of fine and performing arts and who are empowered to impact their communities as they assume technical roles in production and promotion of their endeavors and are engaged in various community service projects. R.E.A.C.O. is not just another performing arts group. We are a committed group of individuals who wish to make an impact in our community and our world, beginning with our children.

Vision

The R.E.A.C.O. Performing Arts Company was born out of a vision given to Reaco Thomas from the Lord. Her dream was (And still is) to see children exposed to the fine and performing arts and to help them develop and express their creative gifts in a positive atmosphere. We started with our first session in June 2003 and are continuously working toward fulfilling this vision. Through our community service projects and gospel productions/plays, we have been blessed to share messages of hope with hundreds of children and adults throughout the Hampton Roads Community. Thanks to the continual contributions of various organizations and independent supporters, we are able to press toward our goal of offering an affordable quality experience in the arts.
