The Mineral Farmer's Market opened May 30, 2009 with ten vendors, and was blessed by a local minister. We now have as many as thirty vendors each week, and are proud to offer locally, Virginia grown produce. Our community has embraced the Market as a place to "see and be seen" on Saturdays in Mineral. We are having a fabulous time at the Market, and our local businesses are finally feeling the positive impact of a local weekly attraction. We maintain a positive attitude, are non-partisan and non-political. We are pleased to support local civic groups and churches in their fundraising efforts, so long as the goods being offered are within our guidelines.
