Castle Gruen Vineyards and Winery is a small craft winery located in Central Virginia in scenic Madison County. Family owned and operated by Dean and Jeanne Gruenburg, their first vines were planted in 2000. The winery officially opened in 2008. Every bottle is hand-crafted from the bottling, corking, and labeling. There's a lot of love that goes into each bottle of Castle Gruen wine!Â
Castle Gruen wines change year to year, and have included Merlot, Traminette, Cabernet Franc, The King's Red, The Queen's White, Princess Rose, Chardonnay, and Excalibur.Â
