I love taking my kiddos here. They toddler are playground and the big kids play ground are right next to each other, so it makes watching all my littles a lot easier. And there is shade close by which is really nice.

Love this park. You can walk, run, fish, play tennis, skate board, picnic, canoe and do so many other things. There's swings & slides for the kids. It's a great place.

This is a very beautiful park, clean, well maintain and I love the open fields. The only reason I'm giving it four out of five. We came here to hike, and it's not really for hiking. Even though their site says hiking. The trails we walked on is build for Frisbee golf. You really can't enjoy them when people are playing. They can't see you nor you can see them. The park is good for that, throwing a ball around, playing at the play ground, wonderful for dogs, and etc.

Nice large grassy areas with plenty of picnic spaces. It has a playground and a small skate park. Has a fishing pier and 2 boat ramps. People usually catch catfish from the pier.

Nice 3 lane boat landing with a fishing peir that is free to use. You do need salt water license to peir. You can run your boat to the James River in about 15 minutes.
