The Williamsburg Symphonia brings to the community superior orchestral performances, creative programming and innovative educational opportunities. Founded in 1984, the Symphonia is Williamsburg's own professional chamber orchestra and presents five Masterworks concerts each season as well as a very popular Holiday Pops concert during Grand Illumination weekend. Masterworks and Holiday Pops performances are presented at the Kimball Theatre in Merchants Square. Observing her 10th anniversary in the 2013-1024 season as music director, Janna Hymes has raised the bar in attendance, enthusiasm and support for the orchestra.
