Spruce Ridge Tree Farm is a CHOOSE AND CUT Christmas tree farm where you and your family can walk through rolling hills of manicured Christmas trees to select your perfect tree. You can cut the tree yourself with our provided saw or we will be happy to cut it for you. We also offer balled and burlapped trees which can be planted in your landscape.
David Huffman has been in the world of trees most of his life and in 1991 returned with his wife Dreama to her family farm on Spruce Run. He planted 4,500 trees on three acres and has been planting ever since, now having over 40,000 trees at various stages of maturity.
David's trees have won many awards with the Virginia Christmas Tree Growers Association. Our trees have been in the Virginia Governor's Mansion and on the South Portico of the Virginia State Capital. The 2010 Christmas tree in front of Hotel Roanoke came from Spruce Ridge Tree Farm.
Spruce Ridge Tree Farm is open Thanksgiving Day through the Saturday before Christmas. We are open daylight to dark.
