As long as a bully and sex offender like Katrina Broughman works there, I will take my children nowhere near this place. It is not a safe place for them to be if she is here and the owners dont seem to have a problem with it! Which is shameful! How can you let a person like that teach children? Lord have mercy, the drugs this girl has done, the party life she's led, the sex drugs and rock and roll - literally - and the bullying and slander! No one like this should teach children. I'm sorry, but you should really know people before you hire them! You do not know her at all!

There are wonderful things happening in this place. It is a great spot to take an adventure with a lovely property to explore and many interactive sites. They are doing good work with Rockbridge County Schools to bring outdoor education to classrooms. Consider supporting this organization with your time and resources.

The Boxerwood Nature Center is a wonderful place to take young children (perhaps 10 and younger). They will get quite dirty playing in the various areas. Yes, there is a small crack for them to jump over. It covers more area than I expected. Much to see and experience. Donations are accepted upon entrance.
