It’s a birthday party and we’re celebrating the red, white and blue!

Here's what is going down on our Mountain for the weekend

Schedule of Events:

8:30 am - 5 pm: Devils Knob Tennis

9 am- 10 am: Non-denominational Church (Lookout)  

10 am- 5 pm: Living with Nature Hike (The Wintergreen Nature Foundation)

10 am - Dark: Arts & Crafts Showcase (Blue Ridge Terrace/Courtyard) Unique gifts for friends, family and you! Stroll through fair and see what our local artists are creating.

10 am - 5 pm: Discovery Ridge Adventure Center

11 am - 6 pm: Lake Monocan

11 am - Dark: Quench Your Thirst and Tame Your Tummy (Blue Ridge Terrace) The grill will be open serving up summertime fare and local brews, wine and beverages.

11 am- Dark: Live Music (Blue Ridge Terrace)

12 pm- 1:30 pm: Live Music w/ GWP Reggae Band (Blue Ridge Terrace) Greg Ward, a man of many talents; vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, and producer. Seasoned in reggae, roots, rock, his gift offers an inviting vibe, inspiring one to heights of oneness through his passion on stage.

1 pm- 3 pm: Live Music w/ Bluzonia (Blue Ridge Terrace) The band plays a mix of original and cover songs generally in the genre of bluesy jazz, swing and country swing.

1 pm: - Wintergreen Fire Department Showcase (Upper Dobie) WTG Fire Department will have several of their vehicles on site for children to explore and learn about. They will have staff available for demonstrations and questions… two ambulances, fire trucks, brush trucks, and even water!

1 pm - 8:30 pm: Scenic Chairlift Rides (Blue Ridge Express) Soar down the mountain and back for an easy breezy ride. Beautiful! Ages 13+ $10; 6-12 years old $5; Resort Guests $5; 5 & under free; cash or card accepted. Complimentary for Wintergreen members, $5 for 2021-22 season pass holders when valid passes are presented or proof of purchase. Fees are per day.

4 pm - Dark: Block Party for Kids  (Behind Treehouse) Games, face painting, tie-dye t-shirts, races, cookie decorating, potato sack race, and more!

4:30 pm- 6 pm: Live Music w/ Pale Blue Dot (Blue Ridge Terrace) Anyone who listens to Pale Blue Dot should consider themselves an explorer. The band’s catalog is an audio odyssey propelling the audience toward a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the universe.

3 pm- 7 pm: Axe Throwing (Behind the Treehouse) Come throw some axes with us. Whether you're an axepert or never held an axe, you're guaranteed to have a good time. Instruction will be given before you throw. Must be 18+ to participate Closed Toe Shoes Required!

6:30 pm- 7:45 pm: Live Music w/ The Upside Band (Main Stage Tent) The Upside are a rock cover band based in Richmond, VA performing hits from the 70s through the 90s.

8 pm- 10:30 pm: Live Music w/ Mashup (Main Stage Tent) THE MASHUP has compiled a brand new up-to-date show that will keep their fans and the new comers happy alike, comprising of an ever-changing set list than consist of tunes from the fifties to the modern hits on the radio today.

8 pm - 11 pm: Live Music at The Edge w/ Lama and the Hound (Stoney Creek Golf, ext 8250) Lama and the Hound is a local acoustic duo specializing in Bluegrass, Outlaw Country and Classic Rock.

9:30 pm:- Fireworks (Dobie) There's no better place to see fireworks than on top of a mountain. Join us as we celebrate July 4th with a fantastic fireworks display.
